US-based Chevron reportedly plans to construct a 100 km pipeline to connect three gas fields in the northeast of Bangladesh to the national supply network. Production from the Moulavi Bazar, Jalalabad and Bibiyana fields is expected to more than double to 1,840 MMcf/d by the end of visual_editor01visual_editor, Mohammad Hussain Monsur, chairman of the state-run Bangladesh Oil, Gas and Mineral Corporation (Petrobangla) said on Sunday.
