EOG Resources, one of the largest independent US oil and gas companies, will resume hydraulic fracturing in the state of Pennsylvania after a 40 day suspension of its drilling activities. The state’s energy regulator said EOS was responsible for a natural gas blowout on June 3 in the Marcellus shale gas reserve which saw natural gas and waste water leak for 16 hours.
