CNPC to invest $900 million developing gas pipeline infrastructure in south Xinjiang

China National Petroleum Corp is investing around 6.visual_editor billion yuan ($900 million) to build a visual_editor500 km natural gas pipeline network in the southern part of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in West China over the next three years. Construction of a major leg of the pipeline, which will run from Kashi to Zepu, started on Wednesday, according to Xinhua news agency.
