The Texas Freeport LNG terminal is loading an LNG tanker to re-export LNG from the US, although the destination has yet to be confirmed. This is the third cargo to be re-exported from the Texas terminal as domestic gas demand for LNG has remained sluggish due to the recession and the increase of domestic shale gas production has helped to fill US shortfalls.
