The Iraq-based Pearl consortium, which includes the UAE’s Dana Gas and Crescent Petroleum, Austria’s OMV, and Hungary’s MOL, has reached a production capacity of 200 MMcf/d in Iraq’s Kurdistan – enough to meet the demand of two gas-fired power plants in Erbil and Chemchemal with a combined capacity of 1,250 MW.
