Two Qatari companies have withdrawn from a project to build an integrated LNG import terminal and gas-fired power plant in Astakos, western Greece, due to disputes between the investors and delays in receiving approvals, according to a Greek government official. The news will be a blow to Greece as it seeks investment to aid recovery from a severe economic downturn.
