Strikes carried out by workers in France protesting against the government's planned pension reform are preventing LNG tankers from unloading, halting gas flows completely from the Montoir de Bretagne terminal on the Atlantic coast and the Fos Tonkin terminal near Marseille and cutting output from the nearby Fos Cavaou terminal, GDF SUEZ confirmed on Friday. The Chemery storage site also closed on Wednesday, preventing capacity holders from withdrawing gas from the store.
