Scottish & Southern Energy (SSE) has delayed making a final decision on the proposed Aldbrough II gas storage facility extension, a joint venture with Statoil, due to regulatory issues over third party access, and the shrinking premium between winter and summer gas prices - but the utility plans to build its first nuclear power plant by 2023.
