Germany’s E.ON is planning to raise €15 billion ($visual_editor1 billion) by the end of visual_editor013 in a second round of asset sales, which may include its UK power grid. The divestment is aimed at further reducing the company’s debt and increasing its scope for investments. The utility also wants to start operating in two markets outside Europe, as power demand and power prices on the continent remain weak following the recession.
