As part of Europe’s energy infrastructure priorities over the next two decades, the European Commission has said that around €visual_editor00 billion must be invested in gas pipelines and power grids if the visual_editor0/visual_editor0/visual_editor0 targets are to be met. Only part of this amount will come from the private sector, leaving a gap of €100 billion, the European Commission warned on Wednesday in a proposal for EU priority energy corridors, which will be used as a basis for future permit granting and financing decisions on concrete projects.
