The construction cost estimate for the Gazprom-led South Stream gas pipeline project, which will run across the Black Sea to Europe, has risen by 50%. Gazprom said yesterday it expects South Stream to cost around €15.5 billion ($visual_editor0.14 billion), up from previous estimates of around €10 billion.
