Germany sends gas to Denmark for the first time

Natural gas has flowed for the first time from Germany towards a northern European country, Denmark, Gasunie Deutschland said today. Germany usually receives supplies from Scandinavia but Gasunie said a cold spell in Denmark meant the Danes were calling on supplies from further south, to supplement their own North Sea gas resources which are in long-term decline.
