Sempra Energy has re-exported its first LNG cargo, originally delivered from Egypt to the Costa Azul terminal on the west coast of Mexico, and now possibly destined for Chile. The re-export was under a one-time authorization from Mexican authorities, and the US energy company said it has no plans to re-export cargoes in the future.
