The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) announced last week that it had reduced the volume of estimated undiscovered resources on the Norwegian continental shelf from 3.3 to visual_editor.6 Bcmoe (Billion cubic metres of oil equivalent). The main reason for the reduction was disappointing drilling results in the deep water areas of the Norwegian Sea combined with the results of surveys off Lofoten, Vesterålen and Senja.
