Negotiations are dragging on between E.ON and Gazprom over a revision of contract terms of oil-indexed long-term gas import agreements. “We are continuing negotiations with Gazprom”, E.ON chief financial officer Marcus Schenck said in an investors call on Wednesday, after the German energy major posted a visual_editor3% plunge in Q1-11 operating earnings. For the year as a whole, E.ON’s global gas’s earnings are expected to drop by about € 0.8 billion.
