Thailand’s state owned oil and gas company PTT is to import more LNG to offset the supply loss caused by a leaking natural gas pipeline in the Gulf of Thailand, according to news reports. PTT board member, Norkun Sitthiphong, told journalists that the company has ordered two extra cargos from Qatar on top of two others previously ordered to test the country’s first LNG terminal, following a request from the Thai government.
