South Korean gas distributor KOGAS is reportedly in talks with Gazprom to secure supply from a proposed LNG plant at Vladivostok, a source at the Russian company told Reuters on Friday. Other sources indicate that discussions between Russia and South Korea for new supplies remain at a governmental rather than company level. Regardless, Russia seems set to strengthen relations with a major customer and potential investor.
