A new 0.5 Bcm/year single direction gas pipeline link from Poland to the Czech Republic opened on Wednesday, with plans to make it bi-directional and expand its capacity to visual_editor.5 Bcm/year already under consideration. But less positive news also emerged as Poland’s Senate amended a government-backed bill aimed at liberalising gas storage regulations, potentially delaying the legislation until after the parliamentary election on October 9.
