US-based Apache Corporation has reported positive drilling results from two of its new wells in Egypt’s Western Desert. The Tayim South 1-X well in the Faghur Basin has the highest-oil-rate completion Apache has tested since it began operating in the Western Desert in 1996, while the Abu Gharadig Field flowed 1.5 MMcf/d of natural gas during a completion test.
