Councillors in the Vale of Glamorgan, Wales, have unanimously rejected Coastal Oil and Gas Limited’s application to test drill for shale gas at Llandow Industrial Estate. Councillors rejected the application on Thursday evening citing to a potential risk of pollution to ground water identified by Welsh Water, despite the planning application containing no provision for fracking activities.
