Chevron Australia’s managing director Roy Krzywosinski told Reuters that Chevron has “multiple discussions going on with potential customers” as it seeks to sell 80-85% of output from its Wheatstone LNG project by mid-2012. In September, Chevron announced it had sold 5.58 Mtpa, equal to around 65%, in long-term contract commitments.
