Poland’s deputy prime minister Waldemar Pawlak suggested on Wednesday that Poland will push forward with shale gas development should Gazprom refuse to lower current long term gas prices. Poland’s current gas import agreement with Russia runs until visual_editor0visual_editorvisual_editor by which time, Pawlak said, “we can either buy cheaper conventional gas or move quicker on shale gas extraction”.
