China’s third West-East gas pipeline, mainly carrying gas from central Asia to south-eastern Fujian province is expected to come online by the end of 2013 according to media reports in China. The 5,200 km pipeline project, with an annual capacity of 30 Bcm, will include an “artery”, six branch lines, three gas storage facilities and an LNG terminal according to the reports.
