North Sea maintenance lowers UK natural gas production by 29.4% in Q3 11

UK natural gas production fell by visual_editor9.4% to 103.3 TWh (105.3 MMcm/d) in the third quarter of visual_editor011 compared with the same three months in visual_editor010, due to maintenance work and slowdowns on a number of North Sea fields, data from the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) showed. This is the lowest quarterly production as well as the largest year-on-year quarterly decrease since quarterly reporting began in 1996.
