Trinidad and Tobago’s Ministry of Energy and Energy Affairs said on Thursday that 36 deep water oil and gas blocks would be up for grabs in a delayed bid round to open in March. Potential bidders have until the end of February to submit their interest. The two-island nation, which relies heavily on revenues from its LNG exports, has actively encouraged energy companies to explore for hydrocarbons as its reserves continue to dwindle.
