Bangladesh state-run Gas Transmission Company (GTCL) on Monday signed an agreement with MAN Industries (India) to build a 137-km gas transmission pipeline to bring gas from Chevron-operated fields to the capital Dhaka and to western regions of the country, according to media reports. The pipeline will be designed for a total capacity of 850 MMcf/d and will be funded by the Bangladeshi government.
