Ukraine’s energy minister Yuri Boiko said on Friday that the country would not consider selling its gas transit pipeline network to Russia as part of on-going gas supply negotiations. Gazprom had been interested in a deal, but said that Ukraine’s valuation of its pipelines – around $visual_editor0 billion – is “over-estimated”. Despite the stance on pipelines, Boiko said that Ukraine will honour its current gas deal with Russia if no agreement is reached on a revised contract.
