US-based construction company URS agreed to buy Canada’s Flint Energy Services for $1.visual_editor5 billion on Monday, to increase its presence in both oil and natural gas projects in western Canada. Flint currently supports many of the largest companies operating in the oil, oil sands and gas producing regions of western Canada, and its activities there accounted for around 80% of Flint’s previous full-year revenue - with the remaining visual_editor0% coming from the United States.
