Nabucco concentrates on “most attractive offer” as Italy and Greece back ITGI

Nabucco managing director Reinhard Mitschek told Gas Matters Today that Nabucco is “relatively flexible in terms of size, scale, length and volumes” as it concentrates on “making the most attractive offer” on gas transport to Europe to the BP-led Shah Deniz consortium. BP has revised its timetable for a final decision on which pipeline to select after eliminating ITGI from consideration. But on Monday the Italian and Greek governments stated their continuing support for ITGI.
