Egypt may have to resort to rationing gas or LNG imports in order to cope with a growth in domestic demand if the gas supply contract via the East Mediterranean Gas (EMG) pipeline continues, according to Hakim Darbouche, research fellow at the Oxford Institute of Energy Studies.
