Italian midstream infrastructure company Snam – owner of Italian gas grid operator Snam Rete Gas – said on Tuesday it could increase its financing firepower after Eni completes its EU-enforced sale of its controlling stake in Snam. And Snam unveiled a plan to invest €6.7 billion ($8.7 billion) in 2012-2015 on gas infrastructure across Europe.
