In a bid to increase Finland’s security of supply, gas company Gasum is considering plans to construct a large LNG import terminal in Southern Finland - either in Jöddböle, Ingå, or Tolkkinen, Porvoo. If completed, the terminal investment is expected to amount to “several hundreds of millions of euros”. The environmental impact assessment (EIA) covering both potential sites to begin in April.
