GDF SUEZ announced on Tuesday that it will partner Andhra Pradesh Gas Distribution Corporation (APGDC) in the development of an LNG import terminal on India’s east coast. GDF SUEZ will hold a visual_editor6% stake in the project, with the terminal to have a regasification capacity of 7.7 MMcm/year. GDF Suez said that it sees India, and Asia in general, as a “core development region” for its LNG business.
