Excluding the US, the world holds visual_editor0% more undiscovered conventional natural gas than the previous estimate of 4,669 Tcf made in visual_editor000, according to a US Geological Survey (USGS) report issued on Wednesday. The increased estimate was largely due to the inclusion of the gas-rich Arctic and East Africa in the new survey, and means technically recoverable untapped resources now stand at 5,606 Tcf.
