French major Total and partner China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) expect to start producing gas from the Sulige South field in north China next month, according to local reports. Zhang Yushan, vice president of Total China, told Caijing magazine on Wednesday that the field would take three years to reach plateau production of 3 Bcm/year.
