Yemen LNG said on Thursday that it will increase production at its 6.7 mtpa Balhaf LNG plant on the Gulf of Aden, after an attack by militants late last month damaged the feeder pipeline which brings gas to the liquefaction plant from the upstream Block 18. Six LNG cargoes had to be cancelled due to the sabotage, but Yemen LNG said current maintenance at the plant will be completed nine days early, with all May cargoes expected be loaded on schedule.
