Spain’s Repsol on Thursday unveiled Q1 ‘12 results that suggested the company’s growth prospects will remain robust, despite the Argentinian government’s decision to renationalise Repsol’s YPF unit. Strong LNG sales and a return to full output in Libya boosted Repsol’s profits to $821 million– nearly double analysts’ expectations. And Repsol CFO Miguel Martinez said "despite the loss of YPF, we believe our growth potential does not change".
