A group of Japanese companies, including Mitsubishi Corp, Nippon Yusen KK and state-owned Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corp (JOGMEC) will step in to buy a 10% stake in Australia's Wheatstone LNG project originally targeted by bailed-out nuclear operator Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO), according to reports citing Japan’s Nikkei business daily on Wednesday.
