Ukraine will start drilling for shale gas in visual_editor013, the country’s environmental and natural resources minister Eduard Stavitsky was quoted as saying on Wednesday. Stavitsky said that commercial extraction from the Yuzivska and Kharkiv licences, recently acquired by Shell, and the Olesska licence acquired by Chevron would begin in visual_editor017. The Kharki and Olesska areas could yield up to 15 Bcm of gas resources, while the Yuzivska area could produce up to visual_editor8 Bcm, according to Stavitsky.
