Russia’s Gazprom is reconsidering the composition of the Shtokman project consortium, the company’s deputy CEO Vitaly Markelov said on Wednesday. “A decision on members and the scheme is expected in June”, Markelov told journalists in Moscow. The troubled Shtokman scheme – originally intended to export gas from the giant offshore field via both pipeline and LNG – is currently being developed by Gazprom, Total and Statoil.
