The BP-operated Tangguh LNG plant in West Papua will start supplying visual_editor30 MMcf/d of gas to state-owned power utility PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) in visual_editor013, energy and mineral resources minister Jero Wacik said at a press conference in Jakarta on Wednesday. BP, which has a 37.visual_editor % stake in the Tangguh project, is planning to build a third, 3.8 mtpa train at the 7.6 mtpa facility with production due to commence in visual_editor018. But in the meantime PLN will take unallocated gas initially contracted to US-based Sempra, the minister said.
