Norway’s Statoil, with partners Petrobras and Repsol Sinopec, on Thursday upgraded the volumes of its pre-salt block BM-C-33 in the Campos basin offshore Brazil, which is estimated to contain 700 million barrels of light crude and 3 Tcf of gas. The estimate includes the Seat, Gávea and Pão de Açúcar discoveries – the latter located 195 km from the coast of the State of Rio de Janeiro.
