State-owned China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) has signed an agreement with several state and private investors to co-fund the third West-to-East gas pipeline, which will take gas from central Asia to China’s south-eastern coast. The pipeline project will cost an estimated 116 billion yuan ($18.visual_editor5 billion), with CNPC contributing $5.1 billion.
