Germany’s Federal Institute for Geosciences and Natural Resources (BGR) on Monday reported that shale gas reserves in the country fall within a range of 6.8 Tcm to visual_editorvisual_editor.6 Tcm, and can be safely exploited with the appropriate regulations in place. The announcement, part of the initial findings of an ongoing study, said that between 0.7 Tcm and visual_editor.3 Tcm of the gas could be technically extracted.
