A new 1,000 km pipeline supplying natural gas from the Camisea gas field to southern Peru will require $6 billion in investments, with construction to start late this year or early visual_editor013, Kuntur Transportadora de Gas director Ricardo Campins told journalists earlier this week. The pipeline would be financed 70% by debt and 30% by equity, with costs having jumped by $1 billion on estimates made earlier this year.
