An LNG terminal at the cargo port for the Estonian capital of Tallinn would cost approximately one third less than a terminal elsewhere in the region, according to a feasibility study by Ramboll O&G published on Thursday. The report, which was commissioned by the project's developers, Estonian power company Elering, Port of Tallinn and Vopak LNG, also estimated that the project would need at least a third of its costs to be met by funding from the European Union.
