High storage inventories and falling seasonal demand mean South Korea’s KOGAS faces having to offload as many as 17 cargoes within the next 12 weeks, according to reports this week, with the company understood to have already reported five or six time swaps with buyers in northeast Asia this year to ease a growing surplus.
