Malaysia’s state-owned energy company Petronas has threatened to pull the plug on the USD 10 billion Pacific Northwest LNG (PNW LNG) plant in the Canadian province of British Columbia (BC), citing new tax concerns and increasing competition from rival US projects, according to reports this week.
