UK-headuartered Ophir has selected Excelerate Energy as its midstream partner to provide floating liquefaction and storage facilities for its FLNG project in Equatorial Guinea's Block R. Excelerate will lead a consortium of technology providers which will include Samsung Heavy Industries and Black & Veatch. An MoU between the country's energy minister, Ophir and GEPetrol - the national oil company - is set to be signed on Thursday.
