Interest from European utilities in future LNG supplies is likely to increase over the next few years as they look for new revenue streams and portfolio diversification opportunities, delegates at the European Autumn Gas Conference (EAGC) were told late last week. The prediction came ahead of the publication of full year figures which will almost certainly show a fourth consecutive year of gas demand decline and a resulting fall in revenues on the continent.
